A program within Alpena High School which allows students to stay in high school for an extra year and earn their high school diploma as well as up to 60 transferable college credits.
Students begin by taking one or more college courses during each semester of their junior year in high school. Each year students add more college courses to their schedule as they complete their graduation requirements at their high school.
The number of credits a student can earn depends on several factors including how many MMC credits they have and what their program of study is. Every student is expected to earn at least 15 college credits and has the opportunity to earn up to 60 transferable college credits.
